Hugo is widely used for static resume sites, so I think this could work for you if you’re familiar with command-line Linux.

Oh snap I am really sorry to intrude but I have a question for someone like yourself who is an avid PC user and is also blind.
How do you feel about the prohibitive cost of braille terminals? I am not blind but I remember seeing the film Sneakers when I was young and the blind hacker Whistler using a braille terminal. As an adult I looked into them and was shocked that some cost more than a mid-range laptop. Are they even that useful or is this a relic that I recall but has been superseded by more useful assistive technologies?
Honestly, for real, a lot of low-power PCs are really useful once they have crap like Windows off of them and a lightweight Linux distro on them.
When there’s so many drones in such a short amount of time that we’re having social mass panics about them thinking they’re UFOs or foreign countries and then having accidents like this, it kind of feels me at least like maybe those regulations are currently doing fuck-all?
Like what are regulations for if they’re not to help prevent things like this, not just clean up after the fact?
This is what you get when all your new technologies are an unregulated fucking mess, USA.
It doesn’t have to be “Trump controlled” all the businesses just care more about views and profits than anything else, including the stability of the monetary system which produces their profits.
Especially traditional media whose viewer numbers keep dropping, the only way to fluff their industry is non-stop wall-to-wall coverage of every unhinged thing Trump says because it makes people watch.

It’s not actually about hating the progression of technology, it’s realizing that your labor has been leveraged against you. You will not bear any of the true fruits, because your bosses will use the fruits of your labor to purchase the AI to replace you.
It’s because the labor market is fucked and developers needed unions 20 years ago instead of thinking because they were “rockstars” and “made the big bucks” that they didn’t need anybody else.
We wouldn’t have to ask these kind of questions if the fruits of our labor were being equitably distributed.

But that’s just it, they have thought about the logistics. We already have Meta changing their rules to allow LGBTQ + people to be called “mentally ill” with no repercussions.
The Great Firewall of China isn’t an accident, it’s actually how internet hardware like routers and switches are built to work from the ground up, with security like access control lists, as well as logging connections and seeing what data goes where and so on. That’s the scary thing about the internet, it just takes people wanting to turn it into a draconian nightmare to flip a few switches. I mean, really, the US already has but it just feels like it less because of the release valve of “free speech.” The NSA Utah datacenter has been around for a while now.
They have thought about the logistics, and they want to bring those kind of controls here. As always the plan is to control what happens online. Musk has definitely made some weird and creepy comments about “making lists” and while he’s an idiot, he’s got the tools and people to make it happen.
They couch it in a reasonable position to start the path to blocking access to content about sexuality for anyone. When youre a queer kid growing up and being told that it’s just the devil’s work and other bullshit the internet and being able to talk about your experience was the first freeing thing you could do in your life. It also lead to women having higher standards because women could communicate more and not be isolated by their male partners controlling behavior. Conservatives fucking hate that. This kind of ban could ban that kind of speech online, and I firmly believe it’s intended to.

You might be able to remove the malware, but you can’t remove the backdoors that the US government stipulated should be there to begin with, it’s just another exploit in waiting…
