I don’t know of any long-term studies that show that margarine in the US is healthier than butter.
Outside the US, margarine can contain trans fats, and those are far worse for you than any form of animal fat.

https://foodstruct.com/compare/duck-fat-vs-lard
Duck fat is about 33% saturated fat. Lard is 39%.
So it’s less saturated, but a long way from not being saturated.
It is delicious, though.
It’s about the use of hexane as an extracting agent in food processing. Hexane’s nasty stuff that should go nowhere near the food chain, but the article has nothing to do with the subject of this thread.
Not eliminating DST, but making it permanent.
Typical that Musk would choose the more costly and environmentally damaging option.
No, they paid Rwanda to take asylum seekers, who, by definition in international treaties that the UK signed, are legal immigrants, regardless of how they entered the UK, until their cases are adjudicated. Conservative cabinet ministers relentlessly lied about asylum seekers in their attempts to scapegoat them. Most of the £100M spend on the scheme went into the pockets of Rwandan officials.
Definitely a crime against humanity.
Look at the actual data. Not all models are equally valid, and in ensemble forecasts from a single model, you need to do a summation of the ensemble members to come up with a firm pseudo-deterministic estimate.
fire doesn’t kill them (so zero carbon is released)
Carbon is still released when organic matter burns, even if it doesn’t completely destroy the root system.
they essentially live forever
Except the vast areas that European settlers destroyed.
they’re already not mitigating what humans are pumping out
They very much are mitigating human-caused damage, just not completely.
Carbon capture is a scam. The townspeople are right.
Restricted visa categories such as this enable exploitation. Au pairs should, at a minimum, be able to switch employers once they’re in the US. They should also be covered by the same employment protections as any other full-time employee. If that’s not viable, then shit-can the program. It’s welfare for the upper middle class, and we have much more pressing needs to attend to than lawyers and dentists saving money on childcare.
Anyone who relies on TikTok is an idiot. And it has no unique features than anyone needs, besides the CCP.
Not like Trump to understate.
He tried to force PayPal to use Windows servers in its data center, when everyone else was well along in adopting Linux. They kicked him out over that brainfart.
Don’t forget that that a CEO legally has to maximize profits.
That depends on the corporate charter.
Have the government run it (if we ever again have a sane government).
The entire concept of an “insurance company” (particularly health insurance) is inherently predatory.
They made sense when the only insurance was the kind that paid out if you sent a ship to India and it sank on the journey.
There needs to be more incentive: “Kill three, win a prize.”
10K reports carry extensive information on corporate governance.
Who they are is a matter of public record. Let justice be done.
