Some songs, even if they are stereo have the audio balanced to give a mono feel. A lot of the time, the highs are in the right ear, which feels very backwards to me

I’ll give it a whirl. I don’t find I have any difficulty picking up stuff though
Hearing loss can be more subtle than that. Could just be certain frequencies (or a range) that are being lost. Human speech doesn’t get that high.
