Considering what is “masculine” is a societal construct, so the things I can think of are like: holding the door open for others, walking with people positioning yourself by the road, those sorts of “if something happens, I hope my charred corpse keeps my loved one alive” morbid acts, or in general putting yourself last on purpose.

Assuming this is in good faith, I would say that the Republicans opposition is pretty right the last few terms. The democrats refuse to learn anything from them though. I don’t need a Democrat screaming that Trump rapes babies or whatever. But like, maybe not voting hand in hand with the Republicans would be a start. Using the debt ceiling fight to gain some ground against the rich. Being on the side of any union at all.

Didros@beehaw.orgto Technology@beehaw.org•China’s DeepSeek AI poses formidable cyber, data privacy threats22·5 months agoI might just be uninformed, but this all sounds like, “Asian people are collecting the data that white people have been profiting off of for years!” Is that a fair take?
Which of the many disease based threats are you referring to? Bird flu? Measles? Meningitis? Whooping Cough? Lyme? Andrew Wakefield did a fucking number on the US.
For those that don’t know, first world is the allies in world War 2. Second world are the axis. And third world countries are those that didn’t participate, you know, like Switzerland.

Communism is an economic theory. Most of your examples are government misconduct, which happens both under communism and capitalism.
I don’t think either are a good system and would like us to work past the need for capital at all.
Didros@beehaw.orgto Technology@beehaw.org•Young people were becoming more anxious long before social media, and we should not be fixated on simplistic explanations that reduce the issue to technical variables, researcher says12·8 months agoEconomic systems are mostly about incentives. What are people incentivised to do by receiving the most reward.
Capitalism incentivises destroying competition, creating monopolies, expanding the wealth gap, donating to ineffective charities for tax breaks, paying employees as little as possible to protect profits, lobbying congress for no labor protections, and filling the media with nonsense to distract from all this.
Communism makes it so, in principle, you have no reason to overwork yourself, other than if you enjoy what you are doing.
At least that is my understanding.
Capitalism is not litterally effecting us, but socialism could figuratively effect us any second.
I wish for the concept of borders and nations to be removed from peoples minds?
Carful, you start looking at areas of our society that don’t make any sense as an economic vehicle, and you might start advocating for giving food to people who are hungry and houses to people on the street!
CEOs are obsessed with value derived free of all that messy human labor. It would make sense if they didn’t still want the people they fired to pay money to talk to the robots.
What do the democrats have to do with leftists?
Maybe because he would be a fairly normal right wing figure in another country?
