Likely because it wouldn’t be reported to the government as thoroughly as hunting tags are. Politicians tend to be against policies that don’t directly give them clout when policies exist that could.
Probably a background character since everyone took the good characters already 😔
Mostly OC, with the occasional shitpost

Exactly what I mean. There is zero organizing going on for PSL in this area, so it doesn’t feel nearly as important to push for a socialist vote compared to other issues, like ranked choice voting and cannabis legalization.
Tbh, I don’t expect any culture that considers tattoos to be taboo to be cool with weed.
Yeah, she’s been on my radar and I’ve heard some pretty good ideas and beliefs espoused by her and her running mate. Building leftist movements in a deep-red state is very much a “step lightly” action though, so I have worries that any overt socialist growth here will mean more attempted attacks on pride festivals by neo-nazis, and such. Hell, even mention of “antifa” brings out the crazies to roam the streets with rifles.
This is the #1 reason I have a hard time considering voting for Kamala in a non-swing state. We’ve got ranked choice voting in the ballot, so I’ll definitely be voting, but idk if I’ll cast a presidential vote or not.
I don’t endorse her, so why should I vote like it?
While I think it’s important to have some sort of media bias understanding, I dislike the bot being the first (and sometimes only) comment on a post. Maybe it should be reserved only for posts that are garnering attention, and has a definitive media bias answer for (the no results comments are just damn annoying to see).
It also has the knock-on effect of boosting the post higher in whichever sorting algorithm users are using. So it often feels artificially controlled whenever something has 100+ upvotes and less than 10 comments, knowing the first comment is always a bot. Like, would it be fair for me to have 10 bots that comment factual information of posts I personally like, just to boost their visibility?
There IS a full scale war going on. 31,000 confirmed dead Ukranian soldiers, and up to 120,000 dead Russian soldiers. We don’t even have a good idea how many civilian deaths, but the total death toll could be as high as 500,000.
And no, before you start - Mutually Assured Destruction isn’t “a full scale war”. Its Annihilation of both sides, and has no precedent in the history of war.
I think “modern game” is really a semantics thing tbh. Like, is Age of Empires 2 a modern game, old game, or ancient game? I think it really comes down to how you’re playing the game, rather than the year of original release.
Worms: Armageddon is another example. Is it an ancient game because of its release date, or is it a modern game because people are developing new rules and scripts to play the game by every year?
Considering Factorio is still in development and has a major upcoming DLC release, I’d call it modern. Plus the modding scene is still pretty active.
Mobilism is about as good as it gets afaik. Just use the same method as torrenting by only downloading from uploaders with a consistent history of good uploads.
Spotify is pretty ominous on its own tbh, with its emotional surveillance and motion tracking now being implemented to sell to 3rd parties. I now get targeted with White Claw advertisements after putting on a sad playlist.
As someone who used to post OC, it’s why I left. Nothing but OF spam bots and pics of pornstars. Reddit is somehow the better option, unfortunately.
[Author] is an independent researcher, freelance journalist, book reviewer and blogger.
That’s just like, your opinion dude.
Seriously though, it’s an option piece from a freelancer. Opinions are not considered a form of evidence, nor is the author an expert in any field.
Softcore gilf porn created by an AI to sell state lottery tickets wasn’t on my cards for 2024, but here we are.
I’m not sure why, but you seem to have posted this yesterday but it didn’t show up until an hour ago. Your instance may be having some issues.
I do get where you’re coming from with all that, but the act of going to therapy itself is an achievement a patient can benefit from, and should be considered from the start. If that truly isn’t possible for someone, voice calls from a real therapist are a reasonable next step.
Also, the original question was, “Can AI replace therapists?”. I can see some meaningful benefits coming from an AI assisting a therapist, but that’s not what I was getting at. AI alone really just feels like a bandaid on a bullet wound, when applying pressure or a tourniquet is also available.
“Traditional therapy requires me to physically go to a place, to drive, eat, get dressed, deal with people,”
YES! Those are the things therapy for anxiety and depression is supposed to help you with! If the AI “Therapist” won’t help with those problems, it’s not there to actually help you.
Eating, getting dressed, and talking with real people are all good things for your mental health. Typing on a keyboard doesn’t help, otherwise we’d be the least depressed generation ever.
There are 18,000 people homeless in Oregon and 1,500,000 empty bedrooms in Oregon.
This isn’t about helping homeless people, or assisting people who struggle with housing. It’s about legislatures giving into the real estate markets need for constant expansion with the least risk and greatest profit.
That’s pure speculation on your part.
Like another person said, the “young girl” on the toilet looks to be a woman well into her 20s.
Bobi was born as one of four male puppies in an outbuilding where his caretaker’s family stored wood. His brothers were all buried alive after birth due to Costa’s father not wanting to take care of more animals. Since Bobi blended in with the wood of the shed he was born in, Costa’s father did not see him when he was collecting the puppies to bury.
That’s fuckin wild if true.
I think it really depends on what “young girl” means in this context. The title says “children”, but nowhere in the article does it say that. So I’m unsure if this is another AI-boogyman article, or something else.
Nguyen Hoa Binh translates roughly to “Nguyen Flower Troops”, lol. It should be Nguyễn Hòa Bình. It’s kinda like mixing up “Steve” and “steed” in English.
