I can in Thunderbird but I don’t reply to companies. They have no reply email adress. Like here is your order number or there is our latest campaign. I use customer chat for help or company have internal message system like banks. In general I like to avoid using email due to the protocol design.

For me this would not work. I have my own domain and give out like [email protected] So if the email is sent to that I wound just know who leaked my email adress. Change email and ban everything to to the old adress. I never get spam this way.

Nothing has been decided or done yet. Most likely they will just be forced to not abuse their position, for example make ads for it on www.google.com, don’t bundle Chrome with Android and such things.

I believe there will always be an alternative to Chrome available as the Open Source community will find a way together.

Block Chrome and use anything not Chrome based. In other words use Firefox.

They don’t know. For computers it is easy, but for Phones - this is really hard. But be glad that the masses don’t know about it. They actually watch all ads and bring in the money, so us educated can leech with no ads.

I left Authy a couple of years ago when I realized that I can own my own data. I use KeepassXC. For sync, just syncthing. Both free and I 100 % control of it.

Any online password manager is in my opinion is stupid as it will sooner or later get hacked - info leak. Some may not even apply zero-knowledge about the passwords.
