Iirc, before 2018 the Chinese goverment would refuse to recognize some priests or bishops as officials even if the Pope had selected them. The relation between the PRC and the Vatican was ok, better than the Soviets and the Vatican, but this was a huge problem for them.

The People’s Republic of Korea was basically the Korean government in exile during World War II. I think they merged into the DPRK after the US refused to let them take control of South Korea, even though they were the legitimate government of Korea.

This whole situation is the fault of the US and France. This is their 4th invasion of Haiti, they never solve anything, they just do this shit to further oppress the Haitian people and steal more of Haiti’s resources.
