It’s a great way to get facts if you want your facts to be accurate less than half of the time.
I suppose I’m just seeing how even Twitter has had success with community notes, and figured it would be the same on Facebook. But it’s easy to forget just how… out there Facebook is these days.

I don’t know what the “International Fact-Checking Network” is and I doubt most Facebook users do. The type of person using Facebook is going to likely trust notes written by their peers more than things that come from “on high” (meaning Facebook themselves)
Honestly not a bad idea. The community notes are easier to trust and typically more accurate anyway.
Uh oh, someone made the ruling class very angry!
Your cell phone carrier is legally obligated to give you another number if you are being harassed, which this is definitely beyond any doubt harassment. Call them and be sure to use the words “I am being called constantly and harassed at my new number at all hours of the day. I am requesting a new phone number for free.” They will absolutely give you a new number based on that, free of charge.
They got it by running a honeypot exit node like they always do
And now we will watch the momentum deflate like a cheap balloon. Liberals never cease to disappoint when it matters most. At least Tim Walz is cool.
I’m sure this will lead to something.
Same exact thing happened to Bally Williams :-(
They deserve to go bankrupt after that level of damage. I won’t be surprised if a class action comes against them for gross negligence within the next few years. They’re cooked and they know it.
Reddit is trying to sell that data. I would like to sabotage that. Also, some of my activity on Reddit especially early on was quite toxic so I’d rather it be lost anyway.
I’m upvoting because this is good relevant information, but man I wanted to downvote. How awful.
For getting free labor, of course.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
The Cruelty is the Point.

Yeah, and with the added context of other things Meta has done over the past few days, we can plainly see what this is about.
