I’ve got a ID4 and they are all capacitive buttons. It makes a tactile vibration when engaged.
I hate my car. Nice to drive, but awful to use.
Yes, it’s important to defend the only thing you know, even how bad it might be. 😄
Yes I know, but the voting system favours the two largest. Thats why they are large. Small parties have 0% chance og getting representatives into the houses, so they are basically irrelevant.
I understand what you are trying to say. Ultimately, there are only two to vote for. Ideally, there should be more than two parties, and more than two candidates. That’s how democracies work. What you have is a dysfunctional system that divides people in two groups, and there are no incentives to cooperate between parties. Proper voting is also suffering due to the two-party system.
In my country, the parties with the majority of votes and the ability to cooperate gets to form a government. We also try to make it easy to get people to vote, insted of your system of gerrymandering.
I didn’t vote in the primary, because I’m not American.
It amazes me that one of the largest countries in the world, with the most diverse demographics, can only chose between two candidates. This is not democracy. It’s a shit show that has been going on for far too long.
I had the HTC Desire Z back in the day, with a full qwerty keyboard underneath the screen. It was awesome to write on, but it lacked performance.
Android: “Check out all these options. You can customise it just as you’d like”
Apple: “Check it out! This is the best user interface ever. No need for customisation”
My wife got the email [email protected]. She was not happy.
Considering that a 12V battery has an internal resistance of 20 milliohms, the potential current through this thing would be approximately 600A.
It might be too hot to handle (pun intended)
If you are against people who are against fascists, wouldn’t that indirectly say you don’t care about fascism? And that’s how fascism gets a foothold. And with that logic, you indirectly support fascism.
Because journalists aren’t aeronerds.
There is no truth like a Russian denial.
Even if this might sound crazy to some, it doesn’t sure me at all. Industries are not upgrading systems just for fun. It’s only done when it is absolutely necessary.
I’ve worked with systems running in windows 95. On laptops so old they didn’t have USB. The only way to transfer new files to it was to use serial link (we didn’t have floppy drives). What did that ancient computer do? Communicate with subsea control systems for oil wells.
If you use Sync for Lemmy, you can add filters that removes certain topics of your choosing.
You mean this? https://xkcd.com/1361
The problem isn’t the LED itself. The problem is engineers that read the datasheets where it shows which forward current they need. What they forget to think about is that the recommended forward current is for max brightness, so they slap whichever resistor they need, and never give it another thought.
Whenever I design a LED circuit that is only used as an indicator, I always make it 10% or less than recommended, because I do not need to burn away my retina when I test the boards.
I’m privileged to have a boss not caring where we work from, but i prefer to come into the office once in a while because of my social needs. It’s depressing to stay home day after day, but it’s more productive.
That’s like handing out the condom that was used by your country to f–k you in the a-- for your entire life.
Hard pass.
