What did he do?
Yes, and they constantly change how parts of the UI work, most often getting more in the way of efficient actual messaging… It’s really bad.
It’s recently been bought by a generic mobile app development company. This thread has more discussion on the topic.
Thanks! I’ve been happy with 7-Zip for Windows, but what you’re describing sound like an upgrade with few downsides, if any. I’ll try it next time I get the chance!
Does anyone have any suggestion for iOS? Raivo seems to fallen from grace recently.
How does it compare to 7-Zip?
No one cares of it’s obvious how it immediately affects them. The problem with uploading sensitive data to the Internet is more subtle, because it usually doesn’t affect you right away. But once you’ve uploaded it, it will be there for many years waiting to be breached…
I haven’t tried all of those, but I like Deezer. It plays music and it’s much less pushy about podcasts or other crap that Spotify always clutters your start page with. The queue interface is also simpler to use. The only downside I see is that search is noticeably slower than Spotify on desktop.
If you had to pick one of those iOS clients, which would you pick?
