You should read up on the whole ordeal. The article is failing to summarize the lengthy legal battle that’s been happening between them for years since Musk’s takeover.

Not solely. Kids shouldn’t have such an unhealthy image and mindset pushed by the array of social media influencers out there. It’s always easier to blame the parents, and they certainly have some responsibility here and shouldn’t be absolved; but it’s a symptom of a much deeper problem in our society that lets this happen.

Kids will get things from other kids to do/try behind their parents back, tale as old as time. We need to fight against the portrayal of beauty standards being equated to the value of a woman.

The electoral system and gerrymandering make it so a two party solution is the only real system that works; and one of those parties will always be moving away from the other, while the other has to move closer to the middle every time to “recapture” the voters who also shifted further from center.

It’s a bad system, and it needs an overhaul/update desperately. Other countries that have established democratic systems of government since the US was established (and is technically, on record, the “oldest” democracy. If you squint.) have superior constitutions and systems of government that ensure free and fair electoral practices where candidates don’t have to appeal to moderates because even edge case parties are still represented in their house of representatives.

Narcissists tend to sound the same, because it’s all lies about themselves and over inflating their own achievements because they can never get enough, have enough, do enough, etc.

Hogan and trump both would have had legitimate things to be proud of/brag about during their hayday; but because they are the way they are, it was never enough. It always has to be about them, and they have to be the best at everything. Their ego is fragile and any challenge to anything they do is met with extreme aggression to try and hide the fact that most of their accomplishments are made up lies.

Once you start down that path, you can’t walk it back without admitting to every one of the lies you’ve ever told. And they physically can’t do that. Like, their brain will not let them. You’ve seen trump try and acknowledge that he was lying by a judge and the best he can do is admit that the thing he’s saying ISN’T true, but he believes it SHOULD be true, so therefore why shouldn’t he be allowed to say what he personally believes is true, even if nobody else is willing to believe him? He knows that by saying it enough times, people will accept his lies as truth, there’s no reason for him to stop.

Hogan’s the same way. All Narcissists are the same way. It’s their cornerstone behavior.
