This is what I picture when I think of Florida.

The only way I could see it potentially working is if there’s like a team who handles the whole thing.

Maybe there’s one or two cameras, one facing the courtroom and the other facing the judge. The judge doesn’t see any screens of any kind, and doesn’t have access to a keyboard or anything to interact with a chat, if there even is one; ideally there would be no chat and it would just be a stream you watch. If there is a chat, someone else should be handling it and possibly not even in the same room.

I get what you’re saying, but I honestly feel like you’re being disingenuous here. Only in exaggerated media (shows, movies, music videos) do predominantly POC own pit bulls, which is where the stereotype came from.

Where I live, it’s mostly white people that own pit bulls and such. And it’s also those same white people that are mostly impacted by such legislation. Personally, I think it’s utter bullshit to ban an entire breed of dog and I’ve seen so, SO, SO many people literally saying all put bulls should be put down.

I call those people “dog racists,” and they always fail to see how their line of thinking could extremely easily be switched to a group of people rather than dogs.

I’m being sincere. I remember going on a road trip with my grandpa around that time, and he would listen to Fox News Radio. I remember an episode of Limbaugh where he was going on and on about how people were offended about a political cartoon of the Obamas wearing full robes and head coverings (I don’t know the actual term for that type of dress) holding AKs with an American flag in the fireplace. He was of course saying shit like “it’s just people exercising their free speech, why should people be so mad?”
