I think it’s also because you don’t really need to train the dog to behave on its own when you can just physically overpower it if ever misbehaves. Nothing against small dogs (love them), but you need to stop yourself from just forcing them into whatever you want them to do, it they’ll never “get it” and never feel like a member of the pack/family.

I’ve started eating a fruit (usually apple) after breakfast, and sometimes as an afternoon snack, and that keeps my energy up, personally.

As a forum user I agree, but would like to add that many forums do have a kind of “demerit point” system for incivility. Where racking up enough points gets you temporarily muted or banned.
My instance requires that users say a little about why they want to join. Works just fine.
If someone isn’t willing to introduce themselves, why would they even want to register? If they just want to lurk, they can do so anonymously.

I think you’d work your way in naturally, same as any community throughout all of history.

Yeah I remember it felt like fun, until I found out it was bad for you. That along with any kind of asphyxiation - who knew! You’d think just being able to look up “is huffing chrome bad for you” on the internet would inoculate kids against this kind of stupidity.
By way of explanation, we were all quite poor and ignorant where I grew up.
