I get that you can maybe build up a tolerance to capsaicin that’s different to a “sugar tolerance”, but typically I don’t go for the food with the most sweet flavor or the most smoky flavor just because I like those specific flavors. Why, following a similar logic there would be a smoked food challenge where people eat fucking charcoal, no?
