I refuse to believe that anything approaching half of voting-age Americans support this. Unfortunately, here we are.
I got this. For those that don’t, search about reiserfs and the author’s criminal history.
You take half my sentence and twist it to fit your narrative and I’m the troll?
You, my friend, are part of the problem.
Of course he did. If you thought otherwise you were gullible. Politicians lie and party affiliation makes no difference. Save the outrage for the truly outrageous things the next 4 years are going to bring.

mdurell@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Over half of all tech industry workers view AI as overratedEnglish12·2 years agoAs with all tech; it depends. It’s another tool in my toolbox and a useful one at that. Will it replace me in my job? Not anytime soon. However, it will make me more proficient at my job and my 30+ years of experience will keep its bad ideas out of production. If my bosses decide tomorrow that I can be replaced with AI in the current state, they deserve what they have coming. That said, they are willing to pay for additional tooling provided me with multiple AI engines and I can’t be more thrilled. I’d rather give AI a simple task to do the busy work than work with overseas developers that get it wrong time and time again and take a week to iterate while asking how for loops work in Python.
Yeah, imagine a company being so dug into ruining the user experience.
What’s that supposed to mean!!! ;-) seriously, I overlooked it and your comment looked like it came from left field. My bad; pobody’s nerfect.
Fair… I somehow overlooked that. My apologies.
