Water sticks to my balls as well 👍
Pretty sure they wouldn’t let random people access or adjust their public restroom timer though. 🤷♂️
I went into a public restroom in a gas station once that was set up with a motion sensor. But I didn’t immediately know that. It kinda freaked me out for a bit when after like 3 minutes the entire room went pitch black dark. I thought their breaker kicked off or something, while sitting on the toilet.
If it’s gonna be on a timer, it ought to be set for more like 10 minutes or something. I dunno about everyone else, but I don’t tend to do much of any significant movement when sitting on the toilet to keep the lights and fan on.
So, aside from numerous other angry words I could say…
How is this going to affect incoming phone calls? Will I be able to at least talk with my friend, without having to hear ads the whole time because I was watching a video?
Just a friendly reminder, https://grayjay.app/ is a thing, screw the YouTube app.
They’d have to find my archives first, absolutely none of them are on the frontend. I don’t use the archive in any normal manner, and the links are effectively randomized so there’s no chance of just guessing any of my links.
I’ve been doing it for years and they haven’t pulled anything down yet.
Edit: Yes that’s clearly an archived website and not a file to direct download, but that same if_ banner bypass trick works just the same for individual file downloads.
Wanna watch a trick?

You can follow that link, it’s perfectly safe, and rather funny no less. It links to the archive…
Note the if_ after the date/time code. That bypasses their banner. None of my links are anywhere on the frontend of the archive, you literally have to know every link to find my archives.
And most of my archives aren’t even of websites, most of them are direct file downloads of older operating systems and games and stuff. Not like I’m about to share any of those here though.
I’ve been doing that for years and they haven’t found or removed a single thing I’ve archived. If they ever do, well so be it, but none of it is on the frontend, and the links are so obscure that there’s basically zero chance of anyone just randomly guessing them.
Funny you’d say that. If you manipulate the link and add if_ or fw_ after the date code, you can most certainly download files directly from the wayback machine.
Look towards the bottom of the page, ‘Save Page Now’
Snapshot feature. Apparently you’re not familiar with it.
I don’t even have an account silly. Think I’m stupid enough to do that?
Never heard of the snapshot feature have ya?
I’ve got terabytes of things archived, still there.
I hope you didn’t turn back the odometer…
Yes, I know. The point is that people seeking privacy eventually won’t be able to use their banking apps and other online financial accounts unless they’re signed into Google Play to ‘authenticate’ the app.
AKA force you into letting them steal more of your private info…
Okay. Then either use older backup versions of those apps before the requirement of the Play Store, or just quit using those apps and services and switch to less enshittified apps and services.
Easier said than done these days, I know…
Oh shit…
Also, didn’t the EU declare that Apple needs to allow other app stores on their devices?
This seems like a bonehead move all around…
Ouch. Good luck with that 🤞
Verizon bought out Yahoo actually. I still have an email account with them, though I never check it anymore.
We rode out Katrina near the Mississippi Gulf Coast back in 2005, in a run down trailer made in 1979. We didn’t board up the windows, matter of fact we did exactly the opposite.
We opened all the windows and doors, to allow the air pressure changes easier to try to equalize. We sat in the living room, no power, just a battery powered radio, watching the walls ‘breathe’, if you will…
Scary shit yo, but our beater trailer survived. About 45 minutes after the strong winds started to settle down, suddenly the water level raised about a foot and a half, only a couple inches from coming in our front door. Luckily we were on high enough ground that we didn’t get water in the trailer. Luckily.
We were two weeks without power, but at least my dad was smart enough to be prepared with a 400 gallon tank of chlorinated ground water. People though he was crazy for having that much treated water prepared, until Katrina hit, then he was sharing the water with all the neighbors.
TL;DR - Stay safe out there, and prepare early.
