It’s not inappropriate though. I’ve been saying for years Canada should not be so closely allied with such a fickle country.

21·22 hours agoThe American populace is comprised of a lot of very stupid, cowardly people. It’s been molded by decades of propaganda to make them into this. I am not surprised and I do not expect Americans to be able to get themselves out of this descent spiral.
Probably both tbh. The pessimistic view is being born out in practice right now.
