Actually listening to NPR earlier, fact checking guest said both sides have always lied, but GOP has always lied more even prior to Trump. JD on stage reminds me of those days where it’s told straight as a cohesive argument, is still a lie, but harder to detect because the lie isn’t told like a batshit conspiracy theory.

The endorsement actually should reflect whatever candidate has the unions interest in mind, which is why most other unions are supporting the obvious, pro-union candidate.

The strangest thing is, Harris isn’t even ambiguous in prioritizing reducing costs and helping small businesses with financial assistance. When I lecture, I have to take breaks for discussion after 15 minutes because even well meaning people lose focus after that time. I feel like when Harris said that Putin would be sitting in Kyiv, Trump didn’t understand. “Why would he be in Kyiv, Putin would be at home, happier of course” because he’s taking it literally like a fucking idiot.

And yes, Trump, of course Putin would be happier with you in charge when he invaded. The Biden administration gave crucial Intel in the months leading up to the invasion and military support. Harris 100% deserves props for being involved in that.

My thought… When GPT was new, I was quite invested and it worked pretty well. That was what, almost two years ago? I’ve found it just being easier and more reliable learning stuff myself and writing my own paragraphs. I wonder if normies are still in that honeymoon phase.

At some point, the false answers and predictable, soulless responses catch up to you. In a world that’s over reliant on boilerplate AI text, a personalized email with as little sass goes a long way.

Can confirm. Wife got a fancy AI tool from corporate and it’s only delayed her work (which is mostly in excel). Lots of false equations and bad advice. So she comes to me and I give her a simple, no frills formula and solve the problem in 5 to 15 minutes.

Oh and of course they’re removing their RTO initiatives soon and adding another day of mandatory in office. Mind you, free lunch isn’t the pull they think it is for my wife, although if I’m being honest, if it’s me … Well, I do have a thing for free catering. Not 1 hr+ commute, but I’ll bike for an hour for free food (and coffee).
