Their role is entirely dependant on feeding the cash machine, of which the military industrial complex is a huge part. The cult of personality is just a convenient means to an end. If it’s no longer convenient it’ll disappear.

This wouldn’t be hard for one person to do. A few VoIP accounts, a script to send texts, and a list of names and numbers purchased from any number of data miners for a few bucks. My money is on some neck beard who did it for the lulz.

Interesting. Supposed Palestinian maltreatment of lgbtq is a pretty common talking point among the pro-israel crowd. Do these organizations operate within Palestine or are they expats?

It was 9/11 butterfly effect. The US’s wars caused a refugee crisis, xenophobes across North America and Europe got their panties in a bunch about all the new brown people, turned to nationalism. New (and popular) authoritarian anti terrorism laws probably didn’t help either.

Well, you see, someone can be a bad candidate and still be better than the worst candidate. Being better than trump doesn’t make her good. Most people are better than trump. You don’t get a cookie for that.

It’s a good reason to vote for her, but it’s nothing special. Most people aren’t trump. Nixon wasn’t trump. I’d vote for Nixon over trump. That doesn’t mean he’d be a good president.
