While Heroic is great and I love it, I would be nice to have official support from GOG.

pop_OS is downstream Ubuntu so it should be the same experience, but I have never tried it on a touchscreen device. System76 are working on a major update (currently in alpha last I checked) and I do not know if they will remain downstream Ubuntu or do their own.

I used Ubuntu until bad because reasons. Tried multiple distros but no other DE felt quite as good until I tried pop_OS!. It is supposed to be some gaming oriented OS based on Ubuntu but I love it because of the great window management they have.

I’m not arguing IP here, I just seems to me that you are mixing two different things. You can have a employee owned company and still have IP.

I remember the Quantum release. They remade how the browser handled tabs, and with the new release you could handle (almost) unlimited number of tabs. I tried this buy opening as many tabs as I could, it worked flawlessly. I can’t even remember how it was before that, except that it was RAM intensive.

That’s not how it works. It is much easier to sit behind a computer and have opinions than saying no in that situation.

I only use a laptop, having vertical took too much screen real estate.

I see that I missed a zero (510000000/60=8 500 000). That numbers didn’t seem plausible when I did the calculation.
