Every time a court rules against the Trump administration it becomes a “is this the one where he enacts his coup?”-moment. Probably isn’t there yet, he needs to install a few more crucial stooges in various posts, but he is definitely getting there. Making his oligarch backers profit billions from his tariff scheme certainly was a good way for him to secure their backing for whatever he has planned.

It was about incels spouting misogyny and all other imaginable forms of bigotry. It served as yet another fascism pipeline for a lot of kids.

I really don’t understand this constant complaint that comes up whenever a news story about Musk is posted. Of course it is newsworthy that the (once) richest man on Earth is doing this, and providing news about what these billionaire oligarchs are up to is definitely part of a relevant newsfeed.

No, it would not get him more votes. The main problem for the Democrats are that a lot of non-Trump voters doesn’t vote at all, not that they are suddenly going to turn Trump voters. There has been a consistent non-Trump majority since 2016 after all.

I think the main problem for the Democrats are apathy and people not voting at all, rather than people actually voting for Trump. The Trump voters will be the same, but they will actually vote.
