The driver of a a shuttle bus that crashed at O’Hare Airport Friday morning has died, the Cook County coroner confirmed.

The crash occurred on a ramp to Terminal 5 at the airport at about 2:30 a.m. The bus appeared to crash into a median, with the bus having heavy damage to its front.

CFD responded to the scene and found the driver, who was ejected from the crash. He was transported to Lutheran General Hospital in critical condition, CFD said. He later died.

    Definitely should’ve of being driving at 2.30 in the morning at that age. Sick and sad he died because the company chose to keep an 80 year old man working.

      You say that as if he didn’t need to work to survive. Not everyone has a retirement plan that works out. A lot of people lost everything in the 2008 banking scandals. That was only 15 years ago, right around when this person was 65 and likely ready to retire then.
