My brain hurts. I think it’s supposed to say: throwback to when I found this gem in a value village in Houston, Texas. Gym was a stretch, otherwise pretty funny.
It’s spelled phonetically. Texans tighten up the long e to sound like an elongated short i. When becomes win, gem becomes gym.

“definately,” i guess? if i wasn’t sure and sounded it out, there’d be an “a” in that spot. great, now i have to go watch videos of people pronouncing it to find out if i’ve been saying it weird my whole life.
“wierd” maybe comes from not realizing it’s an exception to the ol’ “i before e” rule. or just accidentally swapping them.
