A neo-Nazi “active club” counts several current and former members of the United States military as its members, the Guardian has learned, including a lance corporal machine gunner currently in detention on insubordination charges and a former US Marine Corps staff sergeant who was booted from the service for stealing large quantities of ammunition.
Why would anyone be surprised that Jerry Lee who flew halfway round the world on his 18th birthday to kill brown people might be racist.
Isn’t Lance Corporal the lowest rank one can have in the US Marine Corps? The headline makes it sound like its a systemic issue, but to me, it just seems like some Marines straight out of training are nut jobs.

Lance Corporal is the third rank from the bottom (E-3). It’s still very low but Private (E-1) and Private First Class (E-2) are lower.
