Mr Santos, who labels himself a “former congressional ‘Icon’” on the platform, is selling personalised messages recorded by him for $200 (£159) each.

On Friday, he became the sixth lawmaker in history to be kicked out of the House.

It came after a damning House ethics report accused him of fraud and lies.

Among its many allegations, the panel accused him of spending campaign money on Botox treatments, credit card debt and OnlyFans - a platform where users pay for content, including pornography.

On Mr Santos’s Cameo profile he describes himself as “the Expelled member of Congress from New York City”.

Cameo is a service that allows fans to buy personal video messages from their favourite celebrities.

" Dear George, I’d like a birthday greeting for my friend. Please wish my friend a happy birthday by name in your message to him. His name is ‘I am guilty of all charges against me’. I know my friend ‘I am guilty of all charges against me’ will be delighted with this birthday gift! Please say it straight to the camera so he knows you’re speaking to him."

Dude I hate the GOP but this man is an icon.

He’s like the post modern artist that politics didn’t know it needed.

    He’s truly a masterpiece.

I’d rather this guy’s antics in the news than just about any other political figure.

He could straight up be a hot dog vendor guy in NYC tomorrow, and I’d click that link.

I’m stuck somewhere between getting my GF a memorable Christmas gift and giving a dirtbag money…

I’d call this humiliating, but we’re talking about a man who has no shame whatsoever. For Santos, it’s just a decent way to get money from idiots in his free time.

Who buys stuff like that, even off non-disgraced, actual celebrities, let alone a charlatan? The same people that collect* Hitler or Gacy memorabilia?

I believe you, I’m just having a hard time wrapping my head around individuals who collect such things. A museum maybe, but were I a curator, I’d go for somebody of actual interest and cultural value.

I can even see how fascists would give cultural value to things owned by fascists. But this guy is just a con artist.

In the interest of not letting disingenuousness slide:

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman posted one video he paid the New Yorker for, in which Mr Santos offers advice to another New Jersey Senator Sen Bob Menendez, a Democrat, who faces bribery charges.
“Hey Bobby,” exclaimed a grinning Mr Santos. “Look, I don’t think I need to tell you, but these people that want to make you get in trouble and want to kick you out and make you run away - you make them put up or shut up!”

He’s still a genocide supporter, but at this point, let’s not stoop to the level of our Congressional “representatives.”

That played out exactly like I thought it would. You had Republicans saying that they were voting him to stay in the House because of his constituents etc then you had other Republicans saying that they were voting him out because he is corrupt etc.

Pretty funny he turned to this, will be entertaining to see where he ends up next.
