The thing is, these people always claim that their discrimination is “for the children”. It was never about the children, and always about the hate.

    *Child gets abused*

    RW: BASED!

At this point, they’re not even pretending to give a fuck about the children.

a grandfather putting someone in a headlock? Is that even legally considered to be abuse, i’m pretty sure if you lost your footing in the headlock there is a non insignificant chance that you injure or kill your grandfather. Unless this is one of those “my family has children at the age of 20” type families.

true, i didn’t read the article, as most articles are generally rather shit, and there was a summary, not sure what the point of the summary would be if not to skip the article, anyway those were just my immediate thoughts on the statement.

A search engine is a software system that provides hyperlinks to web pages and other relevant information on the Web in response to a user’s query. The user inputs a query within a web browser or a mobile app, and the search results are often a list of hyperlinks, accompanied by textual summaries and images. Users also have the option of limiting the search to a specific type of results, such as images, videos, or news.

For a search provider, its engine is part of a distributed computing system that can encompass many data centers throughout the world. The speed and accuracy of an engine’s response to a query is based on a complex system of indexing that is continuously updated by automated web crawlers. This can include data mining the files and databases stored on web servers, but some content is not accessible to crawlers.

There have been many search engines since the dawn of the Web in the 1990s, but Google Search became the dominant one in the 2000s and has remained so. It currently has a 91% global market share.[1][2] The business of websites improving their visibility in search results, known as marketing and optimization, has thus largely focused on Google.

Essentially, you’re so worn out seeing this that instead of horrifying you, it just gets a, “And the sky is blue, what else is new?” response, correct?

If so, you might need a break from the internet. Becoming numb to this stuff is not healthy

There will always be horrible people, doing horrible acts it’s not a surprise nor newsworthy.

Do we need an article tomorrow when that same hate group leader says the N word?

                He’s watching a video.

It’s not like he’s the one who did the act.

I sympathize with the victim but don’t see how this is any more relevant to society than the root of the child was hurt which should be it’s own article and call to action

We kinda do need these articles. These people push a narrative that they’re just “concerned about the children” and trying to save them from “groomers” (ie anyone who allows them the freedom and agency to figure themselves out and express themselves). Articles like this poke holes in the image they project, and show them for the monsters they really are.

Yes, you already know they’re monsters. So do I. But clearly, not everyone has gotten the message yet, and if we ignore their monstrous acts and words, those people will be left to listen to the narrative they do get.

Yeah, I’m not a bot, that was a really good haiku. I don’t think a computer could write that.

You’ll also literally never hear me say anything racist, because I don’t swing that way. I’ve no idea what that insane article is they’ve posted, but it’s news to me. This username is meant to sound like Liam Neeson, and I’m keeping it.
